Are you ready for some football? Week One NFL Lines

Are you ready for some football? John Mellencamp, Faith Hill and Kelly Clarkson will provide the music for the NFL’s Opening Kickoff 2007, and then the defending Super Bowl champion Colts host the New Orleans Saints.

QB Drew Brees and the Saints, who led the league in passing yards last season, surprised many by making it to the NFC title game. “They’re well coached, and they’re exciting. They’ll be better this year,” predicts John Madden. The Colts have lost a host of key players since the Super Bowl, but Madden says he’ll “go with the champs until somebody beats them. They’ve got Peyton Manning. If you want to beat them, you’ve got to think in terms of scoring four TDs.”
