Last Thursday it was announced that Sedo, a global domain marketplace, sold the domain Poker.org for $1 million! This was a record-breaking figure for a .org domain. The buyer was Pokercompany.com and it was previously owned by A-1 National Advertising.

Just so that you acknowledge how big gambling is now the previous record sale in the .org category was $198,000for engineering. The seller of the poker.org domain is very reputable and owns some of the best domains  like fun.com, teens.com, babies.com, etc.

“We expect to see growing demand for .ORG domains, as organizations and individual investors are recognizing their full value and potential.
