Online poker site Bodog recently went through a hard deliberation process to pick the new member of Team Bodog. The site happily announced that their new female pro is Amanda Musumeci.

Amanda Musumeci, also known as ‘Manderbutt’ has been playing regularly at Bodog for years and her total cashes add up to $200,000. “When you respond to an opportunity like this, no matter how confident you are in yourself and your abilities, there’s always a little nagging doubt in the back of your mind, so when Bodog showed a genuine interest in me, I was ecstatic,” she stated.

The poker player is originally from Philadelphia and she has a major in Speech/Mass Communications and a minor in Political Science and Public Relations from Kutztown University. Poker became an easy way for her to pay for college and this went on until she met poker pro Anna Wroblewski at the Aussie Millions and moved in with her in Las Vegas to begin playing poker at a professional level.

When she heard about the opportunity to apply to be Bodog’s female poker pro she immediately jumped into it and was one of hundreds of applicants. She came out victorious and will now play at the site under the screenname “BodogMander”.

“I’ve spent most of my online poker career playing at Bodog.com, and getting the chance to play as a pro for my favorite room was the opportunity of a lifetime. It also really showed me that, unlike a lot of other rooms, Bodog supports and invests in their players. I couldn’t ask for a better home and look forward to kicking some butt in Bodog’s.” she said.
