After several days of speculation, electronic payment service provider eWalletXpress finally made an announcement regarding their current situation. In an email sent to their customers eWalletXpress said that they will no longer be able to provide online payment services to US customers.
“We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a Federal warrant issued to seize our funds,” read the statement. They also said that players with remaining balances in their account will be ables to claim them and that they will transferred to their checking accounts once all technical issues are solved.
eWalletXpress was a very reliable payment option for US players and it is a shame that it has joined the list of service providers that do not cater to the United States audience, such as NETeller, Paypal and Moneybookers.
The company did not specify what the technical issues are, nor how long it will take to solve them. However, we trust that eWalletXpress has been a diligent service provider in the past and that they will return the pending funds as soon as they can.
